DAY – WISE ITINERARY
- Departure from Delhi by 9:00 PM
- Short halt at Haridwar (for fresh-up and darshan if time permits, sightseeing
not covered) - Continue journey towards Barkot
Things not to miss:
- Witness the serene early morning vibes of Haridwar as you pass through en
route to Barko
- Route: Haridwar – Barkot (Approx. 180 km / 7–8 hrs drive)
- On arrival at Haridwar, THE DP TOURS representative will receive you and
brief you about the yatra. - Begin your journey towards Barkot via Dehradun and Mussoorie.
- Upon arrival in Barkot, check-in at the hotel and relax for the day to acclimatize
for the upcoming Yamunotri trek.
OVERNIGHT STAY : BARKOT
MEAL : DINNER
Things not to miss:
- Peaceful mountain drive through the Himalayan foothills
- Route: Barkot – Jankichatti (46 km drive) + 6 km trek (one way)
- Travel Time: Approx. 2 hrs drive + 5–6 hrs trek (both ways)
- Early morning after breakfast, drive to Jankichatti/Phoolchatti, the base point of
the Yamunotri trek. - From here, begin your 6 km trek to Yamunotri – the first of the Char Dhams,
nestled in the lap of the Garhwal Himalayas. - You may hire a pony, palki, or horse as per your comfort.
- Visit the sacred Yamunotri Temple, take a holy dip in Surya Kund, and offer
prayers at Divya Shila. - Don’t forget to offer cooked rice as prasad in the natural hot spring – a unique
ritual of Yamunotri. - After darshan and blessings, trek back to Jankichatti and return to Barkot by
evening.

- The divine aura of Yamunotri and the surreal experience of cooking prasad in
Surya Kund
- Route: Barkot – Uttarkashi (Approx. 100 km / 4–5 hrs drive)
- After breakfast, check out from the hotel and proceed towards Uttarkashi,
a serene town nestled on the banks of the Bhagirathi River. - On arrival, check-in to the hotel and relax for a while.
- Later, visit the sacred Kashi Vishwanath Temple, one of the most revered
Shiva temples in the region. If time permits, you can also explore the nearby
local market.
OVERNIGHT STAY : UTTARKASHI

Things not to miss:
- The tranquil charm of the Bhagirathi River banks and the divine aura of
Vishwanath Temple.
- Route: Uttarkashi – Gangotri – Uttarkashi (Approx. 200 km round
trip / 8–9 hrs drive) - Early morning after breakfast, leave for Gangotri, one of the most sacred shrines
dedicated to Goddess Ganga. - Enjoy the scenic drive through Harsil Valley, known for its lush greenery,
deodar trees, and apple orchards. - On arrival, take a holy dip in the Bhagirathi River, then offer prayers at the
Gangotri Temple. - Spend some peaceful time soaking in the divine vibes before driving back to
Uttarkashi by evening.
OVERNIGHT STAY : UTTARKASHI

Things not to miss:
- Serene landscapes of Harsil Valley and the spiritual calmness at Gangotri Temple.
- Route: Uttarkashi – Guptkashi (Approx. 220 km / 8–9 hrs drive)
- After an early breakfast, check out and drive towards Guptkashi, a spiritually
significant town in the Mandakini river valley. - En route, witness the scenic beauty of the Himalayan ranges, rivers, and valleys.
- Upon arrival in Guptkashi, check-in at the hotel. Rest and prepare for the next
day's journey to Kedarnath.
OVERNIGHT STAY : GUPTKASHI

- Views of the Mandakini River and distant snow-capped Kedarnath peaks during
the drive
- After breakfast, check out from the hotel.
- Drive to Sonprayag. From here, take a local jeep/shared taxi to Gaurikund
(at your own cost, approx. ₹100/person). - Take a holy dip in the sacred waters of Gaurikund, the starting point of your
spiritual trek. - Begin the 20 km trek to Kedarnath Temple through scenic trails surrounded by
majestic snow-clad mountains and the Mandakini River. - Pony/Palki/Helicopter services are available on-site (at personal cost).
- Reach Kedarnath Base Camp by evening.
- Attend the peaceful Evening Aarti at Kedarnath Temple.
- Check-in to your hotel/camp (Quad/Penta or more sharing depending on rush).
- Have dinner and rest after the long trek.
OVERNIGHT STAY : KEDARNATH ( BASIC ACCOMMODATION )

- Wake up early and visit the Kedarnath Temple for darshan.

- Optional: Trek to the Bhairavnath Temple (approx. 800 meters uphill from
Kedarnath). - Begin your 20 km downhill trek back to Gaurikund.
- Take a local jeep/shared cab to Sonprayag / Sitapur (at your own cost).
- Continue the drive to Guptkashi / Sitapur, reaching by evening or night.
- Check-in to your hotel and unwind.
- Enjoy a well-deserved dinner.

temple as you trek down
- Route: Guptkashi – Badrinath / Pandukeshwar (Approx. 190–210 km / 7–8 hrs
drive) - After breakfast, drive towards Badrinath, the final Dham of the Char Dham Yatra.
- Enjoy the breathtaking views en route via Joshimath, a spiritually rich town
surrounded by the Garhwal Himalayas. - Depending on road and weather conditions, you may halt at Pandukeshwar or
reach Badrinath directly. - On arrival, check-in at the hotel. You can visit the Badrinath Temple in the
evening (if time permits) for darshan and aarti, or reserve it for the next morning.
OVERNIGHT STAY : BADRINATH / PANDUKESHWAR

- Scenic drive through mountain passes and the spiritual vibe of Joshimath
- Route: Badrinath – Haridwar / Rishikesh (Approx. 300–320 km / 10–11 hrs drive)
- Early morning, take a holy dip in Tapt Kund and proceed for darshan at the
sacred Badrinath Temple, dedicated to Lord Vishnu. - Explore nearby attractions like Mana Village (the last village of India), Vyas Gufa,
and Bhim Pul, if time permits. - After breakfast, begin your return journey to Haridwar / Rishikesh, enjoying the
scenic mountain landscapes along the way. - Arrive by late evening and check-in to the hotel.
OVERNIGHT STAY : HARIDWAR / RISHIKESH

Any sightseeing missed due to natural calamities/weather conditions is non-refundable.

SIC means Seat in Coach Services – You will be sharing the vehicle with other people so coach arrival can be flexible by 15minutes plus or minus. Your coach may also collect other passengers from various different hotels just like how you joined the coach and we request your patience and cooperation for the same. Pick up vehicle and final sightseeing vehicle may differ in certain countries and you may be expected to change the vehicle in certain countries. SIC transfers will be applicable only from 0700hrs – 2300hrs. If the flight arrives earlier or later than these timings, we will have to provide private transfers with an extra cost. (Conditions apply)
PVT means Private Services – You will not be sharing the vehicle with other people; it will be provided on point to pint service only – no disposal. Private transfer means a dedicated vehicle with OR without a guide, for a particular sightseeing or transfer. Private transfers are the most efficient way to travel. You will be taken directly to and from your accommodation without detour and without the need to change vehicles at any point. Private transfers do not mean a vehicle at disposal. Customers are required to strictly adhere to the timings fixed for the vehicle even in case of a private sightseeing or transfer.
Baggage Allowance – All transfers are based on travelers carrying a maximum of ONE Check in bag and ONE small handbag each. It is the responsibility of the customer to inform and check with us if they plan to carry extra luggage. Since the same may entail supplement charge for a larger vehicle. In case the guest chooses not to inform THE DP TOURS and arrive with extra luggage additional charges as applicable on the ground and subject to larger vehicle availability will be applicable.
For Traveling overseas, your passport should have a minimum validity of last 09-06 months from the date of exit from that country.
There should be sufficient pages in your passport for Visa/Immigration stamping.
Original passports must be in fine and good condition without any damage.
Required Visa documents to be provided by the traveler. Please note the decision to grant visa is solely held with the assigned visa consulate.
Once the package is booked, amendment/cancellation charges will be applicable
In case of any unprecedented hike in airfare, hotel charges or other service charges, the same will be levied extra.

If we source a more expensive alternative, we reserve the right to re-quote based on the higher rates.
We are a tour operating company wherein we don’t do only Air Tickets and Visa, hence once the Visa is done it is mandatory to book hotel package through us.
The Visas for every booking will be submitted only after we have collected the 50% tour cost against the booking. We may ask for more payment on case-to-case basis and to cover the booking liabilities.
