At THE DP TOURS, we understand that plans can change unexpectedly, and we aim to offer flexibility while ensuring smooth operations. Please carefully review the cancellation policy below, as it outlines the terms and conditions for cancellations or changes to your booking.
General Terms:
All cancellations must be submitted in writing (via email or through our booking portal).
The cancellation policy applies based on the date of written cancellation, not the date of the scheduled trip departure.
No Refund for Booking Amount:
No refund shall be provided for the initial booking amount in case of cancellations.
Cancellation Fees:
30 days or more before the trip start date:
50% of the total trip cost will be charged as cancellation fees.
15-30 days before the trip start date:
75% of the total trip cost will be charged as cancellation fees.
0-15 days before the trip start date:
100% of the total trip cost will be charged as cancellation fees.
Unforeseen Circumstances:
In the case of unforeseen weather conditions, government restrictions, or any other significant events that affect certain activities, THE DP TOURS will make every effort to provide an alternative feasible activity. However, no refund will be provided for canceled activities due to these circumstances.
Credit Note:
The initial booking amount (non-refundable) will be credited to your JW Profile (accessible through our website with your registered email ID).
Credit Notes issued have no expiry date and can be used in full for any future trips with THE DP TOURS.
GST:
Any GST charged on transactions will not be refunded under any circumstances.
Pending Refunds:
If you are entitled to a refund, it will be credited to the same mode of payment used for the booking within 5-7 working days from cancellation approval.
Partial Refunds:
In the case of a partial refund, the refund amount will be calculated after deducting the initial booking amount and cancellation charges, based on the time of cancellation.
Remaining Amount:
The remaining amount will be calculated after subtracting the cancellation fees from the amount paid over and above the initial booking amount.
No-Show / Missed Departure:
If a traveler does not show up at the scheduled departure time, no refund will be issued, and the entire trip cost will be forfeited.
Rescheduling Policy:
If you wish to reschedule your trip, we will accommodate the change subject to availability, with a rescheduling fee of 10% of the total trip cost.
Rescheduling requests must be made at least 7 days before departure. Any changes made less than 7 days before departure will be treated as a cancellation, and the appropriate cancellation fees will apply.
